About Us
Team Spleen is not a Clan. It is not a guild, or cell or even a team in much but name. Team Spleen is a loose collection of individuals who enjoy a variety of gaming-related pastimes and enjoy playing them together. This site largely deals with the airsofting side of things as that by far the largest section of our amorphous blob.
Team Spleen (Leroy Jenkins Memorial Airsofting Division) is broadly based in Cambridgeshire and consider Gunman airsoft their "home" site although they are not the home team at Gunman.
We're a friendly bunch and always welcoming to anyone interested in playing with us, feel free to drop us a line via myself, our forums or just catch us at the end of the month at Gunman, look for the gaggle of weirdo's shouting "SPLEEN!" a lot.
History
As such we were pretty much founded one drunken night playing Counterstrike when myself and Dr. Penguin decided to give ourselves a "Clan Tag". The spleen thing is due to Dr. P's amusement at the word and our inclination to shout it in greeting, as a warcry or just because we feel like it. Over the years and despite the very informal nature of things Team Spleen has grown to have a number of members, most notably in airsofting. Other pastimes include online gaming and pub quizzes. As an entity Teams Spleen has been around for approximately six years.
